would it be possible to put a reverse gear in it,it shows 4 forward gears and I think it is what they call a shuttle shift,I have heard they can be contrary.I would like to have a spare for my 2 landlord 101's if it is possible.

Gary, you are right the shuttle has 4 forward speeds and no reverse. Most of the parts can be used for spares on your 101's. But to convert this transaxle to a 3sp with reverse would require some work. 1st would require a machine shop to mill and bore out the reverse gear shaft bearing holder in the right side transaxle housing. 2nd would need all the reverse gear parts. 3rd would probably need a 3sp input shaft for the transaxle. My best guess. Not impossible, but alot of work. Mike S.

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.

Try this web site for the previous message I reported that did not work for you guys.
The message is about a man in Arkansas who builds miniature vehicles out of old refrigerators that are drivable.
