Towing attachments with Regent

Recommended Posts

HubbardRA
As long as you don't add additional weight to the tractor, and the high traction AG tires, I don't think you will hurt the tractor. I am not familiar with a Regent, so I don't really know what rear it has. I have been tractor pulling with a 61 Wards for over 15 years. The sled we pull is 8500 lb. We haven't hurt the tractor yet. I have the same tractor, and read on another forum that Simplicity DOES NOT recommend towing ANYTHING behind the tractor. I find this hard to believe, but I guess they are dodging responsibility for damage to the tranny. My neighbor has the Regent also, and tows the following WITH NO PROBLEM: 1. Core Aerator 2. Spreader 3. Dump Cart 4. Cyclone Rake PS - My 1996 has the Hydro-Gear tranny. Later models have the Tuff Torque K46. Both have websites at www.hydro-gear.com, and www.tufftorq.com Regards Bob in CT
