I have an old, slightly rusty model 700 gas tank that "weeps" gas. I found a local motorcycle shop that sells the Kreem gas tank sealer kits for about $30. According to the shop owner the kit will do 2 "average" motorcycle tanks and should do at least 2, and probably 3 garden tractor gas tanks. He also said once you start with the process (apparently there is some acid and sealer and other "stuff" with the kit) you must use it and throw away the un-used portion of the kit. You cannot save the left over for doing another tank some other day. Question - anyone near east-central Indiana interested in coming over some weekend and sealing your gas tank? I'd hate to just throw half of the kit away. Seems like a waste. Brent P.S. I am not interested in shipping tanks back and forth, it would not be cost effective for you anyway. Mailing a tank is about $8.
