AC 716H Question

Hello, I have a 716H that won't move. I have had the hydro pump and looked at by a couple mechanics and they say that there is nothing wrong with it. The tractor seems to rock back and forth just a little bit, just enough to notice. So I was wondering if it might be a sheared key on the axle? Would that cause it to "rock" a little bit? Any suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks, William Jordan

Make sure the push valve tips are both up Watch the axle tube as you run the lever forward and reverse to see if it is moving, if it is then you have problems in the differential keyways. If the axle tube is not turning then the problem is either in the gear conection at the tube or at the pump motor, or in the pump itself. Sam

I had stuck valves on mine. I removed them and found a nail small enough to go through the hole in the end. A couple of taps with a hammer and they were loosend up. Working great now. Rod H.
