AdamF 0 Posted September 10, 1999 I went to my dealer today to get some prices on parts. Engine model is 326437-I think. He wanted spec#, which I do not have.We guessed the last time I rebuilt this engine. This tractor originally had a 13hp(30000 series), but was replaced with a 16hp(32000) long block-has 13hp sheetmetal so those #'s are no good.Does anyone have an idea on a spec #, or approximately how old this engine is? The block has the oil filler hole in the side of the block instead of the sump. Also there is no provision for points and no eccentric on the cam for the plunger to ride on, so it is equipped with Magnetron ignition. Any ideas anyone? Thanks.AdamF
Al 6 Posted September 10, 1999 Adam if you can get actual model or tractor, this would be a start. 7016-H means 16hp engine hydro. Then we can zero down on what was right engine and take it from there
Al 6 Posted September 11, 1999 From the way you describe the eng. it sounds exactly like the one we have in our 3112H I got the eng out of a junk trac and ours is an '85 model as it has magnetron and the side dipstick--- model 326431 type-2582-01 code 8506271 Hope this can help you out getting parts! dlc
AdamF 0 Posted September 11, 1999 Thanks dlc. That really helps a bunch. Ifigured the engine was probably a mid 80's, but was never sure. Now I've got some #'s, which makes things easier. Thanks again! AdamF
