aftermarket muffler

Recommended Posts

Hi All Has anyone had any luck with fitting some sort of aftermarket muffler to an ac 620? The muffler on this one is about rotted out. Tore apart the clutch assy. the belts weren't tightening back up and I wasn't moving, thought I had serious problems for a minute. Replaced the belts with napas. Hows the life expectancy with these. This machine was sitting out here in sunny Ca. I had a heck of a time with some of these bolts. I can only imagine the problems you guys have back in the Midwest with your winters. More ramblings, Chad

Might be worth a call or e mail........... Onan Parts Muffler for twin – port mounts are 2” center to center and port to port center is 13.5” - used - $75 at http://jnem.home.att.net/page2.html Good Luck! PS He's an avid supporter of this club & a pretty good guy!

JP Thanks. I'll have the wife call and get a description and possibly a picture. I'm going to check a place here local that is supposed to have Onan parts. Wonder what a new one costs? Later, Chad

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
