Engine swap for Broadmoor

Recommended Posts

Putter
A while back there was a question about replacing the engine in a Broadmoor. I finally got some pictures of mine loaded. I have since notice in other threads that they always had a vertical crankshaft, so this is not that radical of an engine swap. Note the spark plug sticks through the front grill. One thing though is the electric PTO attached underneath. It is not hooked up yet and I am still not sure if it is looking for a ground or 12 volts. Anyway whoever was looking for a drop in replacement for there Broadmoor this 12 HP I/C just fits.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
