Mousy T-811

Recommended Posts

I tried to start my AC T-811 yesterday and all I heard was the solenoid clicking. Checked the battery, solenoid / ground cables, all ok. Then disconnected the + cable from the starter and checked with a meter when turning the key, yes 12 volts appeared.....bad starter....?? I took off the shroud and after I did that it looked like that you took a mold off of a cake. A large mouse nest, they built it so tight that the starter gear could not go in or out!!! Vaacuumed it all out, WD 40'd the gear drive and it turned over and started right up!!! Those mice can really work quick!!!! I think a cat would be a good addition to "patrol" my shed......

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
