Hi Fred, your engine is a Briggs & Stratton Model 243431 (B-10 Tractor). http://myengineinfo.briggsandstratton.com/MainPage.asp?rsvp=0&Link=1&CategoryID=144&PARENTID=144&LRID=1&EPAGE=/main/RealBriggs/WebSite/NA/EN/home.mb&MSCSSID=1234 http://www.simpletractors.com/models/b_series/b-10_old/b-10_early.htm You can probably get a B-10, material off ebay. Or someone here may be able to make a copy. Until, you do there is a book at the Public Library called Chiltons Tractor Repair Manual, it has the B series, repairs. You can get a lot of info. just surfing the site....good luck

Fred Hi welcome to the club There are two MFG#'s for B-10 Before S/N 5001 (2025041 & 2025041) There are two MFG#'s for B-10 After S/N 5001 (2025069 & 2025070) You can go to this site and put in the MFG#'s and download manuals for your tractor.
