model 19 engine

have a model 19 that looses it's spark when above a idle have changed condensor and points but does not help. Any ideas

Bob What gap did you set the points at? The spec is .020 Point gap determines timing on this engine. Also is the point area free from oil and dirt? Did the engine run OK before you put on the new parts? I have run into a couple of point sets the springw were weak in and they acted squirley. Just some suggestions. Larry
