Kent
Having spent a bit of time with the fuller database while testing, thought I'd offer a few suggestions: 1. Spend some time browsing through the older messages. It's amazing how much great information has been posted here since March.... The new format allows you to dig into these old messages much easier. For example, click "Ascending" in the Discussion Settings, then click the "Submit" button and it will resequence the entire list to show the oldest messages first. Note that there's some "junk" messages at the first, where we were initially testing this forum before we gave up on Yahoo... 2. Try the "Go To Page" links. It's very easy to move through the previous messages now, and you can jump to any page you want.... 3. Use the MsgID number to refer to previous messages, since that number will never change. Or, link to the message by copying and pasting the full address of that message using into the Optional URL Link at the bottom of the form. For example, here's the "long display" of Bruce Wise's sharp restored B-210 for sale in the new For Sale format... 4. Try searching the messages by typing in a single keyword (you can only use one at a time) into that field in the Display Settings, and clicking the Submit button. It will search both the Subject line and the body of the messages and display only those that contain that word... To clear the search and return to the longer list, just click the Clear button. 5. Note that Want Ads and For Sale Ads have exactly the same functions. Just some suggestions....[A href='http://207.254.28.244/clubhouse/for_sale_ad.asp?MsgID=36&mode=long']http://207.254.28.244/clubhouse/for_sale_ad.asp?MsgID=36&mode=long[/a]
