Electric PTO clutches

I have a Pow'r Max clutch that appears to have been left outdoors, absorbed water and then froze. The field assembly wiring is toast. Is it possible to have these units rewound? Would the cost be reasonable? Does anyone have any experience with this subject? Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben, I have been doing a little research on this for a fellow club member. The shop that we had rewind our clutch a few yeas ago has since closed up. I will see if our new rewind shop is willing to do this. The problem is that some of the rewind shops do not like these smaller projects. I would do some checking with your local shops as to their preference and the price. If you do not have any luck in your area, we can make a core in our machine shop and rewind it here. Hope this helps. Neal

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
