Oil Type Question.

On the Kohler air cooled engines the owners's manual typically says to use a 5W30 below 32 deg. F and to use SAE 30 above 32 deg. F. If it is below 32 deg. F and you have good clean SAE 30 in the motor and you need to pick up some more leaves, will it hurt the engine to run it?? Or is it supposed to be thinner just to crank it over??

Les, I run the SAE30w all year round in most all of my equipment. One key thing to remember is not to rev the engine up for a few minutes after the inital start up. I have had no problems from doing this. :D
