Joe, I saw your earlier postings about the junkyard you found up in Concord. Haven't been down to see him, yet, but know about where it is. I live in Newton, about 120 miles west of Julian. I'm interested in your 3310V, as I have one myself.(Runs good, but jumps out of revesrse unless I hold it in.) The price is steep for a machine that will not operate. Can you do any better? Cut me a deal that will make me want to drive to Julian and bring that machine home. You can reply to my personal e-mail or post a reply on this site. I check both. Well things have changed drastically now....I ignorred the box after finding slack in the input shaft. I just said to myself, it'll need a new bearing and seal. Then when I was all done with the engine and frame and paint, and wanted to get the bearing and seal. I figured I'd check the entire unit out. It was a bigger mess than droppin a bowlin ball in a five gallon bucket of oatmeal. Both shafts are shot, the gears are chipped...the input shaft bearing land is ruined on the housing, the output pully for the variable speed and woodruff are destroyed....the slider looks like someone took a file to it. I know whut yer sayin..."Hey man, get to the point!" I need a new box, and slider and pully. The problem is the dealer will only sell me parts, wich add up to about $600....duh ! Not me ! To have it totally rebuilt at a local machine shop is gonna cost $350, less bearings, seals and gears....I'm thinking about sellin it....bummer. Anyone for a basket case? I'll let it go for what I have in it....just $543.67....any takers?
