brendon-as long as there are no kids-(or inexperienced operators)-using the machine, then there are a couple ways to do it-temporarily or semi-permanent.if it has a spring loaded contact engaged by the weight of you on the seat, then the handyman's secret weapon(duct tape)will hold it down for a while.on my 7112 I cut and stripped both wires and wire nut them together.on my new sovereign I found a jumper terminal that fit from my electrical stuff(former electrician with lots of parts I'll probably never use)and just disconnected from tractor and plugged in the 'jumper'.on my ingersoll I needed to make a jumper that kept pressure on the internal spring designed to keep us from doing this, although they sell the equivelent part so you can use the hydraulics while not on the tractor-(in my case, the log splitter).I think if you bypass the switch and connect the wires directly and still no start,it may be something else? in that case, someone with more knowledge about your machine will know what to do better than me.just remember to keep your head out of your dumper when you disable this feature, and consider what you will have to do to get it back the way it was originally for resale and/or other operators.hope this helps-dogman
