Guest
In answer to Jeff Nemes post (ReplyID: 2827) under "Feedback Please" below -- there is a server setting that I cannot change that "times you out" in 15 minutes if you've gone off somewhere else. You must click on a page inside Simple trACtors every 15 minutes, or you'll have to log in again when you return. As long as you click at least every 15 minutes, requesting a new page from the server then it keeps track of who you are. A more technical description, in case you're interested: When you log in, you register a "session" on the server, and the server automatically will close that session after 15 minutes of inactivity. The host sets this setting for all the sites stored on the server, and I cannot change it. The only alternative to this method would have been for the Clubhouse put a small program on your computer (called a "cookie") that keeps track of who you are, and identifies you to the Clubhouse program. We chose not to do that, since some people absolutely insist on "no cookies" and have their browsers set to not accept them. Kent
John_RI
Hi Kent, OK on the 15 min, but I am not able to log-in without accepting a cookie from: 207.254.28.244. If I don't accept the cookie is starts me over in the log-in process. John(ri)
