Hey Karl - you have some great Simplicity walkers there! Could I refer others to you for info? We seem to lacking expertise in this area. Please also reply directly to me with details and info you have that can be shared with other owners. Thanks!

You have a great collection. Look forward to seeing the rest. I'll try to remember adding your page to the Links page. If I forget, please remind me, since I seem to have a harder and harder time remembering things.... This also makes me reconsider priorities on adding more info to Simple trACtors. I have a 1957 catalog (thanks to Iain McCowan), among others, that shows what your L-1 looked like when new. Kent BTW, I fixed your link above, so people can easily go to your page. It had a capital "H" in the "http" part of the address. These URLs are VERY finicky...

Karl, Great job with the web page. I rescued what I think is a Simplicity VA from the dump many years ago and have been trying to find out what year it was made. The MFG # is 990155 and when I checked the reference list in Simplicity site it had no definitive info. I have rebuilt the engine and as I remember it is a 7HP with a rare points system as it took me over 8 months to get the part(I did it 12 years ago) I have a rototiller and it has a quick tach hook-up. Can you shed light on this tractor. Where can I go to find other attachments for this tractor? Thanks for any help. SeanM

Karl, You have quite a collection! I agree with Kent, I love the Economy Jim Dandy. I've always wanted an Economy tractor just because they look so neat. I also like your one-wheel tractors. Roy
