k241 without points no spark

I have a k241 engine it has the electronic pickup on it and I do not have any spark.Does anybody have any ideas on testing. There are no points on this engine only the pickup and a single wire coil I would like to get somee kind of idea before I start to replace parts.I hope to get this thing running as I have a snowblower on it and the snow cab.Thanks Bob

Those systems have four major components. 1)Flywheel stator 2)Coil 3)Trigger module 4)Flywheel trigger There are extensive tests that can be performed. Your best bet would be to follow the procedures in the manual, which also contains the specs and schematics.
