Here's my personal experience, but I can't talk to other parts of the country, nor how hard you look... 1) Since I started putting classified ads on the site, there's only one been sold that would fit, and it came as a package with the tractor. 2) I know of only one other that was sold locally, and it probably sold for more than you paid for the tractor. Hope this helps, but you should keep looking -- I'm sure lots of us are... It always surprises me at the bargains and treasures that turn up!

As Kent said, the loaders are normally sold on a tractor. Here in eastern PA I have seen them sell for as much as $1700.00 with tractor. I paid $600.00 for my B112 with loader. I know of one loader that sold for $400.00 with out a tractor. The L10 loader is the most common and it has single acting lift cylinders and a dump bucket. The more rare L12 loader also has single acting lift cylinders but has a hydraulic bucket. I have the L10 loader and it really needs double acting lift cylinders and a hydraulic bucket to be more useful. It is a great toy anyway. Tim

"what my chances are of finding a loader?" Somewhere between slim and none, and slim is out of town. But this web site will be your best bet. I don't think simplicity built many of these. Back in those days front end loaders hadn't caught on, but today they are very popular. Seldom do you see a Koboata without one.
