I supposed it's been mentioned before but on the tractors that use the CI horizontal shaft Briggs engine trash collects on the cylinder fins that go around exhaust port and and restricts the cooling air flow. It cost me a piston and ring set. I caught before it took out the bore. Blowing backwards with air hose doesn't do it. Once a year you should take off the baffle then blow it out with the air hose.
