Guest Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 My father in law has a 3314V that might be having a transmission type problem. Could someone tell me what other tractors,(Simplicity, Allis, AC,) that his mower deck, snowthrower, blade, etc. would fit if we decide to replace it? Thanks, Dave S
thedaddycat Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 Here's a link to a good place to start looking, but those implements will fit most of the tractors from 1959 to about 2000 I think. You may need to have a different hitch for things like blowers, etc.(if you go to something like a 7100 series) but the implements should still work. I have the 3310 V, does your have the mechanical front PTO clutch? It's kind of like a cone clutch but on the front. http://www.simpletractors.com/Main/what_fits.htm
dyehrd Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 your attachments should fit any 3000 series tractor without any modifications. Drop down to the late 60's into the 2000 series and you may need some minor mods for hookup for mower or tiller. the later tractors up to the 7000 series should only require monor mods as well.....
dyehrd Posted December 23, 2002 Posted December 23, 2002 what is wrong with the tranny anyway.....might be better off to find another one of those or some parts...
MikeES Posted December 24, 2002 Posted December 24, 2002 Dave, the 3300 is a one year only design. It has the new style frame used on all the 3300, 3400, 7000 Simplicities and 700 series ACs, BUT it does not have a CONE CLUTCH PTO. It uses the jack shaft belt tightener PTO of the 3100,3200 Sims. I assume the mower deck has the double V drive belt. This belt tightener PTO drive is all tucked up under the frame. The only attachment that would not directly connect to a 3400 series or newer is the mower deck, which would only need a new (different) center drive pulley.
Guest Posted December 24, 2002 Posted December 24, 2002 Thanks to all. I don't know the answers to some of your quetions but will look at the tractor myself to see if I can figure out. Dave S
