Heavy Stuff

Wll got up this morning to about 5 - 6 inches of really heavy white stuff. Seemed little heavy for the blower on the 3112. Seems the snow just wanted to slide ahead of the blower instead of into the auger. Did about half the 250 foot driveway then fired up the old jeep to finish the job. Sure wish we could get about 8 inches of the light snow. Anyway, Happy Holidays to all from NE Ohio on shore of Lake Erie.

Hi Lon. I just got in from cleaning my 1/4 mile driveway, had about 6" of heavy stuff with some ice underneath. Had to use the JD. 4020 with 8 foot blade, what fun :D. Happy holidays from NW Ohio

got about 2 in here so far and it just started, comin down at a pretty good clip bout 2 in/hr. I left the blade on the 3112h just to see how it does with the heavy wet stuff, my single stage acts just like yours does, i have found to feed it instead of pushin it out infront of the auger you have to keep it reved up with a modest ground speed. Otherwise she throws like nolan ryan

We've got 16 + on the ground east of Albany as of 8 pm and still in blizzard conditions. Had the 712H out when there was only 5 on the ground this afternoon, too darn windy. I'll tackle it in the morn...Happy Holidays...
