Ryan: I live in Northern Indiana, and we got about 7-8"of snow over the weekend. I've got a 2110 Landlord, about 1968 vintage. I've got a snowblower from a B210 mounted on it. It performed flawlessly, which kinda surprised me. But in about a half hour or so,I got about 80 feet of driveways cleaned. I then used an Allis 712 with a blade to clean up around the mailbox, etc. Last year I had a Deere 208 with a snoblower that was given to me,and it didn't do half the job the 2110 did.8)

My 36 Inch Single stage on the front of my SunStar doesn't blow a frozen welcome mat worth a hoot.[:0] Luckily, an hour with the blower parked in front of the salamander thawed out the mat enough to be pulled out without any dissassembly!^

Steve, Frozen newspapers buried in the snow don't work too well either -- did it damage anything?

You guys with all your problems. Here in tropical northern Wisconsin, we don't have such problems as 8" of snow. I hope you are all envious. But a true story, from years past (before global warming) when we had a dump of over 30". The neighbor tried to clear his driveway (1/4 mile long) with his 'B' John Deere and a front blade-no go. Then it was tried from the road with a 4wd truck and snowplow - no luck with the truck. Then I came along (after clearing my driveway) with my little HB212 with cab and snowblower; everyone laughed, they thought that only a big End Loader would clear the driveway. Well you know the rest of the story! That little yellow tractor walked up that driveway and disappeared in a cloud of snow dust. And when the snow dust cleared those watching were amazed and speechless. What do I owe you? was asked. "Nothing", I said grinning "the pleasure was all mine" as me and the little yellow tractor headed down the road to the next challange. I hope you are all having as much fun!!

I believe this is the hitch you are talking about

I agree with the thrust of this thread. The Simplicity/AC snowblowers and tractors do the job hands down and do it consistently. I've only had my AC710 and snowblower for 23 years now (still breaking her in) and we have tackled snows up to 130" per winter. I've broken thru the toughest of plow truck blockages and am frequently asked by my neighbors to help them break out. They hate to ask me and admit their equipment can't get it done; I love it. Steve
