Chains on ag tires?

Recommended Posts

Maynard I have a set of chains that are too long for my 23/9.50/12 tires that I dont want to cut up. What method do you reccomend to take up the slack? These are four link spacing and are a full five links longer than needed. Thanks Larry

Larry put the open hook on the inside into the side chain link that is 5 links up. put the cam lock in the corresponding link on the out side and tighten. If you have an extra cross chain that is loose this can be overlapped the others and connected to the side chains on both sides with some heavy duty wire ties or wire. Or you can remove the extra cross chain and just tie back the side chain links.

Good morning peeps! I’m always searching for helpful information with my AC collection. Hope to find out new information and pass on my own experience in restoration. Here are some pics of my babies. I’m still looking for front rims for the 410 so yesterday I put the 310 wheels on took it for a drive. Working pretty good but still needs some carb work. Gotta get the 310 running next. Have a great day!😁

It's in pretty sad shape, but yes I have a yellow plastic cap that I'm fairly certain is what you need. PM me your details and I'll get it out to you.
