400 series implements on a 7116

I am considering a clean 7116 H to replace my 416H. Are the attachments (leaf sucker/cart, 48" mower, 42" snow blower, 36" tiller) interchangeable? Also does this 7116 model use the sundstrand hydro unit? Is the 7116 a sturdy, reliable tractor if its been taken care of? I am a bit nervous about parts for my 416H so if I can pick up this 7116 with its 48" deck for about $500. (seller asking $600.) and sell my clean 416H with its deck for $500., I think I'll be in great shape. It all depends on the 416H attachments fitting the 7116 however.

Hi, The tiller would probably adapt, vac system intake would be on the wrong side, and the snowblower will not work without a new hitch and extensive welding and rework. I have a 300/400 blower and have been going to midify it to fit Simplicity/newer Allis family. The frame welded to the housing to mount the snowblower to the hitch is different length than the other blowers. Hope this isn't too discouraging, but it makes it hard to find 300/400 stuff also. Paull, I adapted (for a relative) a snowblower from a 312 to an AC 712H. This went on pretty easy. I mounted the side mount hangers from the 312 on the 712 mounted the snowblower (I had to add springs to help lift the blower with the 712 manual lift handle) and found the right length belt to drive from the cone clutch like the mower deck. Hi Paul, I agree with Al not much is going to fit the 7110 ser. as it's a TOTALLY different unit than the newer 7100.Right hand mower and vac.[400] sys.vs.left handed [7100.] Totally different snowblower hitch and drive than the 7100 ser.Even the tiller needs the newer style drive minus the clutch that the 400 needs.The best thing to do is sell the 400 and whatever you get for it put it towards the 7100. THEN come see me as I have a really nice snowblower for your new trac![see the photo ad in classifieds!] dlc
