Summer Project--Lift

i thought of a summer project today...after fixing the differential on my B-10 i have thought of making a "custom" hydrolic lift. I have a old fisher plow frame with the piston on it, so i am kinda thinking of hooking it up to the front frame of the tractor and to the plow. I have the idea of running the pump off where my electric start was since i have taken that off because i had to much problems with FIRE!!! if i did do this, i was wondering how to control it, i would only need a up and down control, just...how would it be hooked up the the hydrolic line??? and where and how much would a control be??? thanks brendonv

Where did you get the piston (cylinder) & pump? There should have been a valve included. If not, all kind of valves are available from > http://www.northerntool.com/ Hoses from pump go to valve (maybe one to a reservoir). Hose(s) from cylinder goes to valve. Make sure you mount the pump so the rotation is correct.
