Follow up on AC920

My neighbor purchased that 920, and I thank everyone for the input. He has found that this Lombardini diesel is used by Carrier and some others as the engine in "refer" units that are used on semi trailers. So this engine is lot more common than many think, and there are many knowledgable machanics out there. PS. --- this neighbor was this years points winner in two weight classes with an AC B212 stock altered pulling tractor. He is now picturing this diesel as a puller - WOW. MS

THE BARGAIN NEWS CURRENTLY HAS A 920 DIESEL FOR SALE. THE GUY SAYS ITS CLEAN BUT WANTS 3 GRAND FIRM. I CONSIDERED IT BUT FOUND A '73 4040 POWER MAX WITH ORIGINAL PAINT FOR 2200.
