Hi. I was wondering what kind of cost I would be looking at for motor work or motor replacement on an AC 620? Thanks, Jon

Jon, Unfortunately these CCKB's are very pricey to overhaul/repair. I think all things considered you'd be best off $wise going with one of the Briggs 23HP or Honda 24HP conversions offered by Small Engine Warehouse.

Ok. Thanks for the reply. I kind of figured it would cost either way. I like to try to keep thing original, but this is going this tractor is going to have to work to earn it's keep! Jon

Last I heard a rebuilt CCKB shortblock would run $2500. You can do a honda conversion for less than that I think.

I have found for me to re ring, re cut the valves, all new seals & gaskets for about 450. A lot better than 1200 PLUS for a Honda. If you need bearings or pistons a little more(?). JP
