hey guys found a fast way to take the decals off my ac 620.its called a eracer. just put in a 3/8 drill and buff the decal and it comes right off. you can buy them at a autobody supply store for about $10.00.body shops use them all the time and it does not hurt paint.

if you are NOT! trying to save the paint underneath and just need to "strip off the decals for a restore /repaint job try using aresol paint remover. It sprays on like oven cleaner and in a few minutes all that is left is a little loose goop. I have used it numerous times on decals and on small hard to reach areas. It is less harmful to the surface than sandblasting, but be careful to cover up, get that stuff on your skin and it burns.

I've been using a razor blade to remove the decal, and kerosene to remove the adhesive. It has been working fine on my AC 712 build up.
