Here is an idea for you guys that are handy. A Simplicity or Allis with a rear lift wouldn't need the manual winch http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=20544&item=2307435026&rd=1

I've got one on the back of my b-10,also with homemade 50# counterwieght on front.Plus a set of front wheel wheights. I use it at work, to drag in customers tractors that don't run. The heaviest tow was a 20hp sunstar, had a hard time steering.

I had been thinking of a wheel lift (similar to a real towtruck) using the 3 point hitch. I just haven't yet been able to justify the fabrication of such an animal.

Reed we built a 3pt wheel lift for a friend to use on his GT14 and D-200 Wheel Horse tractors and it works great. We used two sizes of square steel stock to make a sliding frame to fit most widths of front axles. I'd like to make one for my Simplicity 17GTH-L sleeve hitch but I really don't have the need for one so I know what you mean. Larry
