John_RI 3 Posted October 19, 1999 Way to go Tim! Ya gotta love it when you can come up with that kind of 'fix'! John(ri)
tej 1 Posted October 19, 1999 After many many years of starting right up my B12 has no spark. As my partially disassembled Trooper is in one side of the garage and my 71 Cutlass convertible is in the other, my tractors have been living in my back yard under tarps. The B12 was running fine 2 weeks ago, I hope a chipmunk didn't chew up my magneto wires. I am going out to work on it now. I will first check the key switch to see if that could be shorted and then I'll, go to the points and condenser. Last resort is to pull the engine and check the magneto. Any other thoughts on the subject would be welcomed. Tim
tej 1 Posted October 19, 1999 Well it couldn't have been easier. I had a new spark plug in my tool box so I put that in and the tractor started on the first turn over. Tim
