REAR MOUNTED GRADER BLADE ?

Guys anybody here own a rear mounted grader blade for a simplicity? I am thinking that for some applications that i may want to use one for i would need one on the rear end. If anybody has one and could snap a pic or to so i could get some ideas as far as how the hitch is set upthat would be great. I think my welding skills are within the ability to fabricate a rear mount set-up, i just need a few ideas to jumpstart my brain. 8D thanks john b

What model do you want to put the blade on? I have a 9020 and put a blade on easy. Just go to a farm store and buy a 3pt hitch blade. the 6' ones. get a set of class I hitch pins, drill holes in the framework just below and slightky forward of the originam hitchpins and install the new pin toward the inside of the framework.

I USED A 48 INCH SIDE SCRAPER WITH AN ELECTRIC WINCH FROM A BOAT TRAILOR FOR WORKING ON BEACH SAND --- HAD TO LOWER TIRE PRESSURE AND ADD WEIGHT TO GET TRACTION IN DRY SAND --- I DID NOT WANT TO PUT A LOT OF $ INTO A PROJECT THAT MIGHT NOT WORK --- SUPRISING WORKED OK. JAY

Either the Brinly-Hardy BB-56 rear blade or the BH BS-38 BH box blade will hook right up. Here’s a link > http://www.brinly.com/products/landscaping_tools/rearblade.htm I modified a Brinly so I can swivel or flip for pushing, pulling, or raking. I think all the rear blades for Landlord/Sovereign class machines are aftermarket, likely Brinly-Hardy or AgriFab. Here's the Brinly choices: http://www.brinly.com/landtools.htm Here's the AgriFab one: You can see the specs in the Sleeve Hitch area at this link: http://www.agri-fab.com/index.htm
