bgb repair

I would like to install a new needle bearing {154258] and oil seal[154263] in the gear housing, having never done this does can anybody instruct me on how this is done? Difficult? U'd like to do it myself but don't want to open a can of evil worms. any help please.8)

You might be able to do the job with removing the BGB, but maybe not. Removing the BGB is not difficult, but it is involved. Download the repair manual from Simp Pubs, and follow the instructions carefully.

dutch, the box is out of the tractor. Where can you down load instructions? I thought it said they are not available. Thanks roger

This site has all the manuals you could want. Use Part# 100,200,300, ETC. to 900 you will have to scroll though them to find the one you want. They all have discriptions. All of the repair manuals are here. The info I recieved on down loading the manuals was most helpful. The job is done. In about 2 hrs. Not as bad as thought. The instructions are very percise and without them I never would have tried it . Got the bearings and oil seal localy for 16.00. Thanks a heep guys Roger and out:)
