Arbor Greasing

When servicing mowers be careful not to over grease the arbor housings - you can pop the shields out of the "sealed" bearings rendering them useless and possibly cause grease contamination onto the belt. The purpose of the grease is to help keep moisture out of the housing area - not to lubricate the bearings (at least not intentionally). Always stop pumping the grease as soon as the grease gun lever feels a little tight or you hear air escaping. If you are not sure try 5-10 pumps - too much of a good thing can be bad. :(
