Want to rebuild 19 carb

I put the carb on my rebuilt 19 and the gas just ran out of it. So I assume it needs gaskets and needle valves. I just don't want to take it aprt without a diagram of how it goes back togeather.

There are very few parts to deal with Dennis. First you take the main jet out from near the bottom and then screw the nozzle out thats behind it taking care not to damage the screwdriver slot(you will need a screwdriver just the right size) Then you can take the 3 screws out that hold the body to the bowl and take the bowl off. Slide the pin out that holds the float on and remove the float. Take off the float valve unscrew the idle needle valve Clean it all up and reassemble in reverse order using new gaskets and float valve. As a note I have run into a few carb bodys that wre warped enough to make them not seal up. Just something to watch for. Sam

Dennis, here's a diagram I found, it's not exactly the same two piece flowjet as on your model 19 but should give you an idea of whats inside...

I hope this helps you out.:)
