I am new to this and have been following the pricing discussions. Am I hearinf you right, I can buy parts from the Simplicity dealer for my 40 year old tractor....new parts?? Thanks Rod

It depends on what you're looking for.A lot of Simplicity/AC parts stayed the same for a lot of years and models.

You are hearing right -- isn't that great! Many, if not most of the mechanical parts are still available. I don't think the sheet metal is, but I haven't tried to buy any... You can rebuild the steering (at least on a late B-10), the front end, the bevel gear box and the tranny with new parts as needed... Get a free parts manual from Simplicity's Tech Pubs download page (see the Resources >> Links page), then you can check the online parts database at Jack's Small Engine to see if a specific part is still available. Using that part number you can then get the part from any dealer, though many of them will need to order it for you...
