An electric fuel shutoff valve that is used on a dual fuel LP system would work, just power it from the ignition (+ side) of the ignition coil. Don

I used a vacuum valve out of a old car sitting out back. I thought the gas might ruin it but it is still working fine.

I would try a Propane distributor or a Fork Lift parts supplier, maybe even NAPA. Beam FL-206 @ this link:http://www.impco.ws/pdf%20tech/GlobalProductCatalog%20part%201.pdf. You can just cut it into the rubber line with barb fittings or use a steel (brass will break) nipple and install it directly to the inlet side of the fuel pump. Don Shameless plug: Should also be able to have ordered thru UNITED RENTALS.

Greg here is a link to the same company but better catalog. This Catalog even talks about converting small engines to propane. http://www.impco.ws/PDF_downloads/Small%20Engine%20Catalog.pdf Straight Flow Path

Check my prior post on LP Gas conversion. The company listed should be able to help you out. http://www.simpletractors.com/club2/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=14770

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
