I have an allis chalmers 414 serial# 05101092.I don't know alot about this tractor.I bought it really cheap to plow snow in my driveway. It has both a loader and a rear blade. When i bought it the hydraulic pump was out of it.I repaired that easily enough.I used it about 2 hours and blew the head gasket and the head is beyond repair. It has a 14 horsepower kolher engine.I don't have alot of money to stick in it.I'm wondering about how much is it worth? Is it worth repairing or should I just try to part it out.

hey, and welcome to the club and your first post. if it has a loader on it like you claim, it is very much worth fixing up, regaurdless what the model number is. You should be able to pick up a head for that kohler for around $20.00 dollors used (if not cheaper.........i just gave one away this past weekend). anyway if you can find a head from a 10 0r 12 horse kohler they too will bolt right now and you can use them! rob

Over a year ago, you answered a question I had about the tool bar for my FDT. In your reply dated Dec 31, 2019  you said the spacer, part #16, goes in the bar to allow for up and down depth adjustment. does this mean the bolt has to be tightened at whatever depth desired or does the bolt slide up and down, allowing the lower hitch to free float?
If it is tightened so the lower hitch and the bar are rigid, then is the depth to be controlled by the shoes? Or by the lift handle?
Is there any kind of user directions for the tool bar? The Outdoor Power Manual basically shows how to assemble the bar but not how to use it
