JBucket capacity?

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody with a johnny bucket-I was really loading it up today-rocks and heavy wet clay. The Sov seemed to handle it ok,but I have the 42" bucket, and I started to wonder just HOW much I can lift and move, and what is going to go first if I try to haul too much? I know I am exceeding the recommended weight, but it's almost like a 'challenge' to see what it will do...tell me when to quit,PLEASE! dogman (check out my goats and bucket in the JBjr user gallery).

Keep those BGB bolts tight and check them often or you might end up breaking out the casting. I made support plates for my 3310 that run from the electric lift mounting holes all the way back to the tranny to bridge this well known "weakest link" of these tractors. I think 300 pounds or so is about all you want to do with a JBJr.

Site programming updates were made 3/23/2024. As a result some things have changed including dues payment options. We will continue maintenance and work with technicians to regain credit card payment option and clear up minor challenges. On positive it appears attaching pictures is now easier. Good day. Gene
