Can I change my B&S 8HP 191707 to the larger B&S 12HP 284707?

Hello Ken. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe the 42 series were available with an 11 or 12 hp engine at one time or another. I'm no expert but you may have to replace the pto pulley with one for a larger engine if the crankshafts are different diameters/lengths. Mark
