6216 Clutch Adjustment

Recommended Posts

My clutch does not completely disengage when the pedal is fully depressed on one of my 6216's.I have never had this problem before. Any Ideas on what would make this start happening? Is there a procedure to assure your clutch is adjusted correctly? Thanks for your time and effort....Scot

If this is a manual transmission, more than likely your belt guides on the engine pulley for the transmission are not set close enough to force the belt forward off the pulley. With the belt engaged, the gap between the pulley and guide is about 1/16 to 1/8".
