AC410 Gearbox

Hi all. A club member has a bad gearbox on his AC410S. I know the history of the 300 and 400 series and know they are quite different than the Sims of the same era but thought I'd ask this anyway. Is there any chance the gearboxes are the same between the AC410S and the 3400/7000 Sim's and 700 AC's? Thanks, Brent

The gearboxes are the same except for the cross shaft. I just used a 410 gearbox on a 710 by switching that shaft. Pat

Brent, I just used the gears out of a Landlord rearend 3 speed and with the help of other club members parts also to rebuild the tranny on my 314. The only difference I found was the input pulley cross shaft also. Kris
