Guest
The tractor starts right up and idles nicely, but when the throttle is advanced it hesitates and won't run at higher speed. I've looked back through the discussion messages and it appears there is probably some problem with the carburetor adjustments, but I would appreciate any input. Thanks. Floydster
I also had this problem and found that if you open the little jet adjustment on the base of the carb. just a little at a time, you might correct the problem. It fixed my problems. Roy g
Floydster
I have two 620 AC's and the first thing I would check is the points, if they are burnt, the engine will run fine at idle, but miss badly at higher RPM. Also check the gov. linkage, make sure everything is hooked up. The carbs on the CCKB's normally do not go out of adjustment. If you want, I can scan and send some if to you from the tech manual. Floydster
Peter, I can't reach you at the E-Mail address you posted. The one on your post has a period after the nl. The one on my E-Mail doesn't. Tried both, can't get thru. Floydster

michigandon
Had this same problem with the CCKB in my railcar. RoyGs advice is probably correct. It worked for me anyhow! Don
