Could anyone tell me what the going dealer price is for a new gas tank for A 64 landlord. It seems that all the ones I come across look good but the bottoms are paper thin from age. Does anyone know of a plastic replacement that will fit. Thanks for any input.

Hi Rich, I am not sure you will be able to buy a new tank for your 64 landlord. My 64 landlord needed one and the only way I found one other then used was to start calling all the dealers that I could until I got luckey and found one on the shelf that a dealer just happened to have and that was about 7 years ago so I know they have to be extremly hard to find whether used, at least in good condition or new. But check with your dealer or one of our sponcers and see what other year tractors will fit it. At the least you may have to have one repaired at a place that restores gas tanks for cars and truck ect. Sorry I can't help more but someone else should be able to. Good Luck>>->happyjack<-<<

When I was a member of Sports Car Club of America, I used to get a catalog from a racing equipment supplier that had fuel tanks for race cars in every size and shape. Not every oganization requires the foam lined, flexable bladder, fuel cell. Some are just simple tanks. They were not too expensive for the smaller ones. I think the company was called Pegesus (like the winged horse).

I think they are currently available for around $80.
