What Year Is My 620?

Is there a reference on this site that would give me the year my Allis-Chalmers 620 was made? I have the serial number.

The AC 620 was manufactured for only one year - 1973. the prior model - 616 was made in 1972. In 1974 to 81 the 720 was sold. It replaced the 620 but the changes were for the most part just cosmetic. Steve

That's interesting Tuffy. The 620 was equivalent to the Simplicity 4041. I've seen so many AC620's but much less of the AC 720. It's the other way around for the Simplicity's where you see many more 9020's which were equivalent to the AC720 and not as many Simplicity 4041's. I'm pretty sure that 1973 was the only year for the 4041 as well. Seems like Allis dominated the market earlier and Simplicity later. Oh well, just an observation.
