Well, I know I had some skeptics when I first suggested doing this. Here's proof in the pudding:D. It actually took me longer to setup and connect the two Brinly sleeve plows to the new bracket than it did to plow a half acre (1-1/2 hour). Plow mounted on tractor: Here's the field pic: Got home from work, hooked up the plows, plowed the field, and then took Deb out for a great fishfry! What a great end to a tiring week!:)

Bob, I got that covered! Check out the first pic,...my 48" tiller is in the background. Tiller goes on first thing in the morning and I'll be tilling it tomorrow.

This would have been 'pro bono', but thats OK, I'll do my voluteer work here where it takes longer to turn around then dion' the tillin'.:D

Paul, Nice set up!:) Did you try using coulters on each plow? How deep? You need to take your set up to a IH Cub Cadet or John Deere plow days.

I took the coulters off. I've had so much foxtail in my corn that I'd be bailing up straw with the coulters on. This year, using Dual II Magnum to take care of the grass problem. Plow was running 7" to 8" deep. The newer plow that I got off ebay hadn't been used in a few years and was pitted and the soil didn't roll off as nice as it should have. I should have polished it a little, cuz it got fairly caked up with clay.

Paul, A day late and a dollar short, but I just saw a two-bottom plow on e-Bay the other night...... Nice job of your set up there. BTW, I PM'd you about your Sweepster hitch.

Oops, hit the send button by accident. I was trying to say...that's cool, what is the tractor? A 4040? I have a single bottom for mine which really works well with only the turf tires. Regards, George H

Maynard, I don't think three would work unless I added more weight. There was just a couple times when I could feel the lugged tires lose traction. Marty, 1st range, about half way on the hydro control, and about 3/4 throttle. George, It's a 9020. I used to plow with turfs and chains and a single 10". I don't think the turfs and chains would have been enough traction for the two bottom. Bob, I should have taken you up on your offer.;) I tilled for three hours on Saturday. Slow boring job with a 48" tiller on a half acre, but it's done.|)

What can I say? You are right it's done:D Mounted mine Saturday and did my postage stamp garden.. Sure likes to gobble up the ground. Now we are hurtin' for rain. I 'spose those Eastern snow gods used up all of the Midwestern rain Gods water allotment this past season.
