Model 7013 w/kwik-way loader

Hi, I have the opportunity to buy what I believe to be a simplicity model 7013. The hood is gone but by decoding the model #(1690232) on this fine website I think its a 7013. It currently does not run, but did 3 years ago when last started. I can't find specifics about this machine so I have several questions. It seems to small to handle a fully hydrolic front end loader, is it built stout enough or can I expect the front end to be shot. Do all the 7013 have the shuttle transmissions? The current owner said it always ran well but if used hard it would smell like it was getting hot. I hope it means only a slipping belt, but could it be more? The loader is a Kwik-way fully hydrolic unit. The guy wants $400 for it. I cant help but think the loader is at least worth that. Any help is greatly apprecitated.

With out the loader it Should be worth a couple hundred. The weak point wasn't the front end it is the connection point at the BGB. If the side plates have been reinforced between the front and back section it should be ok.

I'm trying to get started building a loader. Just the parts needed alone is going to cost around $500. Good thing I was not given that offer or it would have definitely followed me home. The loader should work fine with any of the Simplicity trannys, 3-speed, shuttle, or hydro.

Most loaders for garden tractors have a sub-frame to take the stresses involved rather than having the tractor take it directly. You are looking at a great deal, jump on it.....

Thanks for the replies. I think I will buy it. I'm sure that if the deal goes through I'll become a regular here.
