728 Simplicity Motor

Hi there. I have an early 70's 728 that needs a motor. Then one in it isn't original. I have an original manual, but it doesn't list the "TYPE NO" in it. I would like to put the original type motor back in. Or if that is not made anymore, a nice correct repower would work too. Thanks for the help in advance! JonWI

Here's the info you're looking for. Use the MFR number for the tractor to identify what engine you need... and the year(s) of manufacture for your tractor :) http://www.simpletractors.com/parts/engine/broadmoor.htm

Thanks Kent, You never know when you answer someone's question how it helps others out as well. I have a Broadmoor 738 and the grill frame has rubbed most of the numbers off of the engine shroud and was wondering just how I could find out what the numbers were. Thanks again. David.
