What is the possiblity of adding information to the site that pertains to Simplicity snowblowers. I have an old 8 horse from the seventies, but would like to know what year. It is also the best snowblower ever made, in my opinion. I would help out with adding any info to the sight, but I have none.

I LOVE my AC tractor and its implements, but in terms of the "best" snowblower...well, I would have to give that credit to a gravely blower attachment. The tines are 1/4" steel, its a 2 stage (impeller also 1/4"steel), the shroud is heavy steel and it shoots snow over 50' (no BS here!). It does weigh a ton, but it is an overbuilt BEAST.

Wow - sounds double heavy duty! If that is 50 feet of wet snow against the wind I think you have a winner but if dry I think the Simplicity may equal it and with a single stage (and the wind blowing in the right direction). We must measure next time! :)
