Winter Delayed

Recommended Posts

FiremanRon
Everyone can rest easy now, at least in Ohio, since I have done my part to put winter on hold. We'll probably have to cut grass two or three more times, as well. The cause for all this is, I took advantage of the warm weather (nearly 70 yesterday), to remove the mower deck, mount the snow blower, mount new lights, put away all the summertime toys in the shed, etc. I usually don't get this much done untill there is snow on the ground. So, sit back and relax. Winter wont be here for a couple more months, at least.

Now if you could PLEASE come out to my neck of the woods (Washington State) and delay or even push back winter for us, it would be deeply appreciated! One word of Warning though, you have to know how to stop RAIN, Rain, and more rain! We need a chance to dry out and then put the water wings on our tractors! Dick

Richard, I was just looking at the pictures of your tractor, and I see that you said the tractor has never been in the rain. So, do you mean to say it never gets to go outside? Or is it a seasonal thing?

It's an occasional thing! We get about 3 days a year to use the outdoors! The rest of the time we spend in the shed polishing our gear and sitting on the tractors like little kids, going vroomvroomvroom! It does save the Beauty of the tractors and make them last for years! But, it's hell on the batteries! Dick

Dave, I'm putting 6.50x18.5's on the back, 7.75x14.5's on the front (all helium filled), along with pontoons and a 250 hp. Merc Jetdrive on her! Then I'll also put boat running lights on her. Going to use her on the Skagit River, to go after King Salmon and Sturgeon! If I can't use her on the Lawn, I'll use her where ever I can! Dick
